Management
We build and direct best-fit marketing teams on your behalf. Our in-house team leads a complementary mix of subject matter experts, agencies and vendors that partner with the firm…many we’ve worked with jillions of times before.
Here’s the management team here at Outsource:

Eric Anderson, Partner
Eric gets his kicks out of two things: showing clients new web techniques and technologies, and of course, Launch Day. Eric has 15+ years experience working with clients like Costco Wholesale, Boeing Aviation Services and Nintendo of America.
Eric’s main job is handling Outsource Marketing’s operations, but he’s also responsible for playing Dad to his twin boys. Which explains his motto: patience, patience and more patience. Come to think of it, that also explains his extensive wine collection.

Patrick Byers, Founding Partner
When Patrick was 13, he was dared to eat a can of Copenhagen. Well, he lost the bet—and his lunch. These days, Patrick is on to bigger and better things (none of which involve tobacco) as the founder of this fun-filled rollercoaster ride we like to call Outsource Marketing.
His experience in hiring, managing and coordinating a bevy of biased and uncoordinated marketing firms led to the formation of Outsource Marketing . . . a company that seamlessly delivers coordinated, discipline-neutral marketing.
As an instructor, mentor and in-demand speaker, Patrick is an advocate of marketing education on all levels. He’s a Responsible Marketing Evangelist and blogger, so it makes sense that irresponsible marketing like Bumvertising seriously bums him out (no pun intended).
Business owner. Advocate. Author. Bulldog (yes, Gonzaga). Patrick goes by a lot of titles, however his favorite, by far, is Dad.

John Coates, Partner
John Coates is a Seattle native raised as a traveling itinerant across America courtesy of the United States Army.
After roles at Microsoft as a content planner and editorial manager for the Windows team, and as a systems analyst and technical support engineer for Boeing, John decided to join the partners at Outsource Marketing to help bring responsible marketing to the world.
John believes in giving back, and served two years as home chore volunteer for the Chicken Soup Brigade (now the Lifelong Aids Alliance) and took a one year sabbatical to volunteer at HopeLink Food Bank Distribution Center in Kirkland.
John’s work at Outsource Marketing spans strategy, content planning, project management, copywriting, editing, and resource management – and tossing in the occasional creative idea.
