BYERS HELPS CAREER COLLEGES OVERCOME MARKETING CHALLENGES AT ANNUAL CONFERENCE
Portland, OR., May 15, 2006—To help career colleges chart a course for success, Northwest Private Career Colleges has selected marketing expert Patrick Byers of Outsource Marketing to speak regarding “The Challenges of Marketing” at their 37th Annual Conference. Byers’ presentation is scheduled for 8 a.m. Friday, June 2, 2006.
Byers has identified three major difficulties in marketing for career colleges: information overload, diverse audiences and status quo mindsets. In his presentation Byers will provide a quick review of marketing basics and offer walk-away solutions on how to overcome these obstacles. In addition, Byers will identify several strategies to explore and select based on the tools available and the right timing.
Byers states, “My goal is to have the audience walk away with confidence in how to build a fresh, efficient and coordinated marketing effort for their institution.”
Expected attendees include Gene Juarez Academy, Ashmead College, The Art Institute of Seattle and ITT Technical College. In total, 70 career colleges and other related educational institutions have representatives at the conference.
To be considered as a Best Workplace for Recycling in King County, companies were required to meet a minimum of 10 criteria on a list of 27. Outsource Marketing met 17 of the 27 criteria including having a designated recycling coordinator and a recycling team, offering employee education on recycling guidelines, and using dishware, glassware and flatware.
Byers is one of two speakers focusing on marketing amongst presenters with a variety of expertise. Altogether, 13 speakers will bestow their knowledge on conference-goers.
