    I just lied to my customer and salesman saying I would call and open a ticket for our support dept. right away to get some info added to their account. Its after 10:00 pm for the support team and this info can really wait until the morning – except the salesman doesn’t agree.

    So I opened a ticket knowing it won’t be looked at until the morning but that is plenty of time for the customer.

    Then I read good Ol’Abe’s comment and I feel like a heel, I should have been honest and told the customer I won’t actually call any support person tonight and this really won’t get looked at until the morning – so much for honesty.
