Increasingly, advertisers have jumped on the cause marketing bandwagon. Kiehl’s, Dove, Burger King, and many other high profile companies strive to align their branding creative with social causes their customers may care for.

Burger King created the “Proud Whopper” in response to the Gay Pride festivities in San Francisco this year. Wrapped in rainbow paper with the inscribed message, “We are all the same inside,” the burger was either a hit or miss with customers. Burger King created this video in hopes of it going viral.
