Creating unique furniture and home accessories out of discarded cardboard is Issaquah artist Aline Bloch’s passion. A self-proclaimed “cartonniste,” Aline’s business started when she relocated from France and had a surplus of moving boxes. Instead of tossing the cardboard in the trash, Aline began creating customized furniture.
Creativity is about taking material that most of us regard as trash, and turning it into something beautiful, functional, and one-of-a-kind.
