We start with sound positioning. If it’s unique and meaningful, we’ll run with it. If it isn’t, we’ll help you develop company or brand positioning that is. Next, we develop weighted strategic criteria so we invest our time in the appropriate areas.
We’ll create a naming brief incorporating your positioning, key messaging, brand character, tone and personality, and more and share it with you. Naming doesn’t start until we agree upon the content of this brief.
Brainstorming using at least a dozen creative inspirations, we’ll come up with over one hundred name concepts. Initial filtering shortens the list to 20-30 options. Domain name and a cursory trademark search are applied to assure the name is available and protectable. Strategic scoring is applied to help determine the finalists.
3-5 shiny new name concepts are presented in an interactive session that helps clients pick the name that’s best for them.
