Would you ever try making your own wedding dress? Paint a giant mural on your house? Make a car out of a boat?
All of these things take time, but they also take courage to face down the unavoidable, occasional criticism from observers.
Creative ideas of all types are by definition different. Having ideas is one thing. Having the courage to say them and do them is another, and necessary.
