A little neighborly kindness

It has been an interesting year in America to say the least. With early November drawing ever closer, and the current presidential campaign about to hit its boiling point, most Americans are left with a pounding headache and a lingering feeling of uncertainty. However, before you reach for your Advil, here is something that might just bring a smile to your face.

The neighbor of the year award goes to Canada, who has been watching what has been going on in the US lately and decided to send us some cheering up through the adorable and kind #tellamericaitsgreat campaign. The idea for this came out of Toronto creative agency Garden Collective. The video, which is paired with a hashtag, Twitter handle and Instagram page, has quickly gone viral and become internationally known. Through #tellamericaitsgreat, thousands of people have jumped on board and shared what they love about America.  As a response to the kind words, #tellcanadathankyou began trending on Twitter this week and Jimmy Kimmel made a video on his show sharing everything we love about Canada. This may not solve the political uncertainty our country is facing, but it does serve as a reminder of the power of human kindness. Canada, we think you are great too!
