Motorola just announced their entry into the heavily hyped “wearables” category and they may a winner on their hands. Unlike offerings from Samsung and LG, the Moto360 looks to be a “style-first, substance-second” device. Smart move Moto. Their own user research revealed an interesting insight — people prefer a round watch. This became the design mandate as well as using natural materials like leather. In other words, build a desirable watch that happens to have cool technology not the other way around.
