In third world countries electricity isn’t a given. In fact it’s rarely given.

That’s where GravityLight comes in. Traditional kerosene lamps are the go-to for impoverished nations. However, kerosene is hard on the environment plus can easily cause devastating fires.

GravityLight doesn’t require electricity, batteries, or oil. Instead the lamp works on a pulley system which cycles through about every 20-30 minutes and generates LED light through the power of gravity.
